No More Raisins, No More Almonds: Children's Ghetto Songs is based on a dozen songs written during the Holocaust about the plight of Jewish youth. It talks to the one in ten chance of a child's survival during the Holocaust. It portrays young victims and survivors in full bloom, with hope, loneliness, liveliness, sadness, talent, resourcefulness and dreams of a better future. The title, No More Raisins, No More Almonds , is a reinterpretation of a famous Yiddish lullaby. Dialogues in English, songs in Yiddish with subtitles in French and English.
